Marc Cucurella will come to London tomorrow to sign his contract with Chelsea and take his medical ahead of a transfer from Brighton, according to Fabrizio Romano.
After a rapid evolution in the last few days, the deal is racing towards a conclusion now that the two clubs have agreed a fee.
The Italian insider says that personal terms were agreed between the full back and the Blues on Monday, and since then it’s been a case of working out a deal with Brighton – who had previously seen off Man City’s interest with their asking price.
Chelsea will pay £52.5m for Cururella according to Romano – it’s not clear how much of that is up front and how much is add ons, but we would imagine the bulk is a set fee, given the strong bargaining position the selling club have.
It’s also noted that Levi Colwill is headed to Brighton – but as part of a separate deal.
What a good news. Keep it up
