Chelsea might finally be close to securing a deal to sign another new player this summer, after a bit of quietness on the transfer front recently.
According to Barcelona insider Gerard Romero, Chelsea could sign Aubameyang as soon as today!

He says, on his latest Twitch report, Barcelona have asked Chelsea to accept paying a €25m fixed fee + €3m in add-ons for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. And if they accept those terms, the player will leave today. This comes after him saying that Barcelona are in talks today with Aubameyang’s entourage to close him leaving the club.

It looks genuinely now like this one is very close and could be sewn up before the weekend begins and Chelsea play their next match.
They would of course need to register any new players before Friday at midday if they want them to be available to play this weekend.
