Chelsea have confirmed the deal to sign Wesley Fofana from Leicester in a post on the club’s official website.
The Blues have been chasing the centre back all summer, and have finally got their man.
It’s been clear for a week or so that a deal was close, despite Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers’ protestations. The former St Etienne man flew to the USA to complete his medical which delayed things, but today has returned to Cobham to seal his dream move to Chelsea.

The deal is supposedly for around £70m, a pretty huge fee but the kind of money you need to pay to get a young, Premier League proven player with plenty of room to improve.
Another bad result for the first team last night will have made this feel especially important.
It our next game is against West Ham this weekend, and it seems there’s every chance that Fofana could start it.

So what.Tuchel will find a way to ruin him as well
