Chelsea have told one player he can leave this window due to the fact that he is not part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans.
Despite a bit of a midfield injury crisis right now, Billy Gilmour has been told he can leave on a permanent deal because he is not part of Tuchel’s plans, according to The Telegraph.
Brighton are now closing in on signing Gilmour before the window is up.
This I find totally baffling by the way. Gilmour is one of only four (five if you count Ampadu) midfielders that Tuchel has in his squad who are comfortable playing in the six role, or the double pivot. And with N’Golo Kante injured and Mateo Kovacic becoming more injury prone, he wants to sell a very talented player who can actually cover that position comfortably…. rather than using Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek there, who are both more natural 8s…. Right.
Tuchel should give the young lad a chance!!

We’ve lost almost all our good players. Spending big isn’t a yardstick for success. He’s not managing his tools/ players properly.

How do u want Chillwel and let players like Gilmour leave just like that. Sterling is a flop it was way better to get Abraham back or Play with Pulisic up front. He’s ruining the team he has with bad position choices. Went with Werner over and over when it was obvious he wasn’t a good fit. Kai isn’t either. Lukaku, no. Tuchel’s also too inflexible. He needs to play some of the talent he has left on the shelf because he’s written them off. Morale killer attitude. This year has disaster written all over it. Tuchel should be sacked.
Billy Gilmour will be a star in the Premier League long after Tuchel has gone. What Tuchel has against him I don’t know but it seems he would rather lose than play him. Last evening with Gilmour Chelsea would more than likely have won.

Good teams always managed some Academy players.That’s where Tuchel and Chelsea are failing.CHO and RLC should b master planers but he is forcing them to play different positions and allowing good young players to go.Marc Gehi is doing well with crystal palace,Tomori is doing well with AC Milan and we are buying defenders very expensive.Abraham was sold by him and we lack 9 shade just because he had hopes on Werner and lukaku.

Thomas Tuchel is turning Chelsea into a shell getting rid of our good players being deemed “useless” because of his retrogressive style of play. Trevor Chalobah and Fofana are some age but instead of giving Chalobah playing time to increase his value to £80m, you sit him down and go and buy an £80m defense just like him.STUPID

I’m surprised to hear that B. Gilmour isn’t in Tuchel Plan. What makes the likes of Pep, Klop, Wenger etc different from Tuchel among others is the fact that they full knowledge of Discovering & Man Management of Young Talented Players. They have strong foresight of mixing young talent with Experienced players to achieve deserved better results always.
RLC, CHO must be taken off the book & PULISIC/Ziyech should be swap for good players that are ready to play Chelsea FC.
Gilmour is A Kante, Kovacic & Fabregas in making_Tuchel Should take note.

I agree with most of the comments, you have to question the manager as with the squad we have we should still be doing better, think it is time for a manager who can motivate players not do them down, most of the work when we one the champions league etc was down to Frank Lampard and I feel sure we would not have lost so many finals under him, so as days of old time for a change

Tuchel is there to destroy the club. Instead of strengthening the team he is weakening it. Right now he let natural strikers leave and the team is struggling. The likes of Ziyech and Odoi are being frustrated. He is seeking to get sacked and leave with a huge payout only.
Sadly, I agree Tuchel is not a leader. I was reading a book about Pep Guardiola’s tactics and he always took the hit for losses to give the players space to make mistakes as they grew into his system. Tuchel is the opposite, he blames the players and thus they quit on him. I was watching some Kai Havertz year 1 and 2 highlights the other day…such a dynamic, creative attacking minded player! Look at him now. I blame Tuchel for crushing his spirit. He needs to be sacked and get a real leader in the door. Top class managers are not easy to find, but even removing TT and going interim might be better now.
Some people seem to have forgotten that he won the Champs league in his first season at Chelsea… even Peps didn’t manage that.

In Lampard’s turnour I remember Gilmour being named player of the match 3 times in succession. Then this???? Why didn’t TT keep him with the youth team than this if it was possible to reverse this decision I was gonna ask the team to do so. Gilmour is gonna come back as a monster to bite us
I think TT lack a coaching experience, since he has been Chelsea manager till this moment he has no first eleven, that’s so bad of him as a coach, Starting from last season every match we lose come from TT mix of information .. I think TT isn’t the coach for Chelsea
