Ralf Rangnick’s time at Manchester United was a bit of a disaster – but it may have helped out Chelsea.
The Daily Mail are claiming that the German coaching icon spoke to Thomas Tuchel this summer having spent 6 months at United. He apparently advised the Chelsea manager against signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Thank goodness for that. The only thing worse than spending insane money on Anthony Gordon would have been spending any money (and insane wages) on a 37 year old Ronaldo, who has seriously disrupted the last two teams he played on.
We imagine the temptation would have been too great for Todd Boehly to turn down if he’d got his manager’s green light. In fact, the report says our new owner actively pushed for it.
So thank goodness Tuchel – via Rangnick – said no.
Although if we end up spending that same money on an average player, it will all have been for naught.

i want cr7 in chelsea
No, I don’t want him… Bc i know at the end he will still refuse to come to Chelsea… I like am to play for us but I’m not sure if he would like to
We like this guy in Chelsea.
Ragnick and Tuchel are all insane. If Ronaldo can deliver, who cares what happened between he and Ragnick.Sign him and get the team firing please
Please Thomas Tuchel sign this so called Cristian Ronaldo
Ronaldo is too old for us please with Auba we need young Lads that will serve no more veterans except the ones we has already sign Zaha live Hudson play broja thanks tuchel
And forget Gordon’s Anthony we had more of it already please TT
The time when your father born he said you will never succeed in life that’s why you are calling him to old for you
Cr7 is a scoring machine
We need young and active players it’s better to sign players who are on form than signing a player who made a name back then
