“All parties confident” – Romano provides details of the fee and swap deal for Aubameyang to Chelsea

All parties are now confident that a deal will be completed today for Chelsea to sign a new striker.

Todd Boehly is set to be the busiest owners in football today as he looks to progress a few more deals over the line before the transfer deadline hits at 11pm this evening. Today is really set to heat up.

Sources: Chelsea set for busy deadline day with Todd Boehly ready to treat it like ‘draft day’!

Chelsea are trying hard to get Thomas Tuchel his striker this window, and as we all know by now, that is Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

Some reports claim a deal has been agreed, but Fabrizio Romano has not quiet gone that far yet. He says a deal is progressing and at the moment, it will see Chelsea signing the striker for £10m plus Marcos Alonso, which sounds like a very good deal to me.

But the most important thing he has said above, is that all parties are confident of a deal being done today.
