Graham Potter and Marc Cucurella are two of Chelsea’s big arrivals this summer.
The pair came from Brighton, thanks to the deals put in place by our new owner Todd Boehly, so it was very interesting to hear Brighton CEO Paul Barber’s take on how the negotiations went when he was interviewed on TalkSport recently.
It’s a little out of date now, as Graham Potter was still at Brighton when this was made, but that just adds to the insight that Barber is able to give about the coach and his qualities.
He’s basically very complimentary about Boehly and his negotiating – could this be where the first contact about a Potter move to Chelsea came about? The timing lines up pretty nicely, and it certainly seems that way.
