Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is certainly a player who divides opinions amongst the Blues fanbase more than most other players.
There’s no doubt that he is a great technical player who is good at dictating play on his day. However, the concerns about him are based around his mobility, athleticism, and lack of pace.

His contract runs out next summer and at the moment, there are no signs of an extension. This means that Chelsea could have another Antonio Rudiger situation with him come the summer and lose him as a free agent.
And according to The Evening Standard, there are concerns at the club about whether Jorginho is running down his Chelsea deal to move back to Italy, despite his insistence that he is ready to renew his contract.
It’s always thought that Jorginho would like a return to Italy at this latter end of his career. Personally, I cannot see him signing a new deal at Chelsea.

He doesn’t run out his contract I believe it’s the team who doesn’t give him a new one, the same goes for Kante, no matter how important he is. They’re both 31 and would want their last big offer next term for 2 or 3 years at least. Jorgi wants to go back to Italy for some time now, while N’golo has spent the last two seasons mostly sidelined. Ita huge risk to tie them down for long term with big contracts and no resale value. I think Todd will let them leave in good terms, just like Rudiger. Kova, RLC, Gallagher, Chukwuemeka, Casadei and even Lewis Hall or Charlie Webster are the ones to carry on our midfield for years to come. It makes sense both economically and sporting wise.
Overrated player, would be a good riddance.come on as a sub but almost cost us the game vs WHU. Form drastically reduces for months now. Not signing establised quality player to replace this guy would cost us the EPL & UCL this season. Rice or Edson Alvarez would be huge upgrade over him; hopefullly J5 can go
