Graham Potter looks set to play a full strength team in tonight’s game against RB Salzburg in the Champions League.
There’s no reason not to – his team don’t play again until October, so rest is not an issue.
His team also need the points, having slipped up in the group stage opener against Dinamo Zagreb.
And above all, the coach knows he needs to start strongly to start quieting the doubts about his pedigree as a manager at this level. The last thing he needs is a bad result festering for two and a half weeks while we wait for his second game in charge.
So expect Potter to put out what he currently considers his first team for tonight’s game. The combination of a new manager bounce and plenty of fresh legs should serve us well, and we’re confident the new man can get off to a winning start.
