Chelsea have gone 1-0 down against West Ham at Stamford Bridge. It’s the latest devastating goal in a season that’s collapsing before September is out.
The Hammers swung in a corner, Edouard Mendy got it away but not out of play, it was put back in and turned in by Michael Antonio through a tangle of collapsing bodies.
That’s the fourth set piece goal we’ve conceded this season – it’s just not good enough. The defending, the goalkeeping, the organisation, the commitment, it’s all desperately poor.
