Chelsea sacked manager Thomas Tuchel yesterday morning in what was a shocking turn of events.
Blues fans did not expect it at all, despite a very inconsistent run of games this season and some poor defeats. But it came, and the new owners have moved fast in trying to replace him.

Matt Law of The Telegraph has done a Podcast with London is Blue talking all about the situation, and one quote that has been cited below, suggests that Chelsea are looking to make a long-term appointment next, with Graham Potter in line.
Matt Law: “Everyone will think its’s short termism to sack Tuchel so early. But the long-term plan is to appoint someone they won’t have to change for a very long time. They have a philosophy that their next appointment will be for the long term.”
