Callum Hudson-Odoi was the man given the chance to leave, with Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech staying put.
Hudson-Odoi was sent to Bayer Leverkusen on loan, and there was some expectation that it would be a sale, or at least a loan with an option to buy for the German side.
But instead it’s a straight loan – and Chelsea will be pleased with that now considering he’s made a bright start in the Bundesliga.
Hudson-Odoi himself revealed that it was Chelsea who didn’t want to allow a buy option – as Todd Boehly himself told the winger that Chelsea were counting on him for the future, and wanted him back next summer.
