Armando Broja has made a few appearances off the bench this season without really making much of an impact, so it was great to see him find the net today.
With just a minute left on the clock he timed his run in behind perfectly, turned the Wolves defence, cut inside and found the far corner with a great finish.
Once VAR had decided it was legit, it was time to celebrate his first goal for the club.
He spoke to Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard at full time with some wide eyed joy at his performance.
Armando Broja only touched the ball three times against Wolves and ended with a goal. That shooting chance had a 0.08 xG but what a hit.
"It’s unreal, I’ve been waiting for my first goal. It's a surreal moment. I can't put it into words," he said after the match. #CFC #CHEWOL

“It’s unreal, I’ve been waiting for my first goal. It’s a surreal moment. I can’t put it into words,” the Slough born forward glowed.
That’s what football is all about, and there’s nothing more satisfying as a fan than watching a player you’ve been following since they were primary school age score their first for the club and celebrate at Stamford Bridge.
Here’s hoping there are many more goals like it to come.
