A draw with Brentford? It’s not the kind of result that Chelsea fans would be happy about in theory.
But having watched the game, the Blues can have no complaints. As they have done every time we’ve gone to the Brentford Community Stadium, the home team put up a magnificent fight.
They were physical, organised, and threatened us constantly on the break.
By the end, Graham Potter’s team were in the ascendancy, but the game could have gone either way.
So the coach’s comments that weren’t too gutted by a draw against a bottom half team make sense.
Graham Potter on another clean sheet:
"It gives you a chance to pick up points. We wanted to be a bit better in the first half but credit to the opponent. We stood up to it quite well, you have to survive your moments. Hard earned point."

He was happy with the performance his team had put in, particularly with the clean sheet which he said “gives you a chance to pick up points.”
Well, in this case it was just the solitary point, but Potter is right. It was a “hard earned” one in difficult circumstances, and he leaves with his unbeaten record intact.
