Chelsea Women boss Emma Hayes announced this week that she was temporarily stepping back from coaching the team because of a diagnosis of endometriosis.
There has been a huge wave of support from all through the game, and today in the first men’s game since the news was announced, the squad will wear customised “Get well soon Emma” t shirts in support of the legendary manager.
It reinforces the message that this is all one club.
