Chelsea had to settle with just a point at home to Manchester United on the early evening Saturday Premier League match.
The Blues thought they had won the game with a late goal from Jorginho, converting a penalty after Armando Broja had been dragged down in the box.
But they could not hold on and gave away yet another late goal to throw away all three points. In hindsight, with Jorginho’s penalty coming very late and being the first shot we had on target, we hardly deserved to take all three points.
But there was a couple of good performances to write home about from Chelsea, and former player Pat Nevin has picked out one player in particular to offer his praise to, and it’s highly deserved.
Trevoh Chalobah has been in some fine form for Chelsea lately and he is surely knocking hard on the door of Gareth Southgate right now.
“There were a lot of fabulous performances, certainly Trevoh Chalobah. That was a grown-up, mature, absolute top-level performance,” Nevin said.
