Graham Potter is known to be quite the hands-on type of manager, especially when it comes to his players.
He likes to create relationships with his players and has great man-management skills. This just doesn’t go for his current players; he likes to start creating these relations with potential new players as well and get involved in that side of the recruitment.
Sources: Big positive Declan Rice to Chelsea update!
Potter’s former player Leandro Trossard has been linked with a move to Chelsea this month, and Trossard’s agent has been explaining just how involved Potter was in getting the player to join Brighton over other clubs such as Arsenal.
Potter actually went to Belgium to convince the player to join Brighton, armed with an extensive Power Point presentation! That really is quite remarkable.
Leandro Trossard rep Josy Comhair: “[Graham] Potter came to Brussels especially for Leandro. With an extensive Power Point presentation to convince him. He absolutely wanted him. There were other options. I had several conversations with Arsenal. They came to Belgium four times.”

It seems like all of this helped Brighton land their target over Arsenal, with Trossard choosing to head there instead.
I wonder just how involved Potter will be at Chelsea.
