Oh my God, Lewis Hall.
He’s been the best player on Chelsea’s team – and perhaps on the pitch – in the first half, getting forward down the left with real threat and aggression.
He was almost rewarded with a superb goal too, as he burst into the box, sent a defender sliding and then hit the ball close enough the goalkeeper to be saved. He should have scored and he knew it – his head was in his hands right away.
Let’s hope that boosts his confidence rather than hurts it.

I’m sorry, why are we lauding a guy who blew an easy goal? If Pulisic (who drove at the defense and created the chance) missed that shot you’d have gathered a mob with torches and pitchforks to run him out of the club. Everyone is way to eager to think the kid with no real track record is the second coming while the guys who have a track record (complete with up and downs) is rubbish. When do we wake up and realize neither is true? Lol!
For his sake and the club’s of course I wish Lewis Hall well, but let’s not get breathless over his future just yet.
