Well, here’s one out of left field.
The last few days we’ve been writing about Chelsea and their links to various top European names in attack – and then from nowhere we hear we’re close to signing a relatively unknown 19 year old.
David Datro Fofana is a 19 year old playing for Molde in Norway and causing quite the stir. He’s scored 15 goals in 19 games, and that’s the kind of record that will catapult you from obscurity to a top club.

Fabrizio Romano has just Tweeted that the Blues are “on the verge” of signing the attacker for more than €10m – although perhaps not significantly more.
Personal terms still need to be agreed, but it shouldn’t be hard to offer a tempting contract given the circumstances.
As for his future – a potential loan or introduction right into a first team squad desperately short of attacking options – we will have to wait and see.
