Record in Portugal are reporting that Chelsea will return with another offer for Enzo Fernandez before deadline day.
The report states that the offer is expected to be around 87 million pounds including players, the exact players Chelsea are going to offer is not reported yet.
Blues officials including Paul Winstanley and Christopher Vivell have been conducting negotiations behind the scenes for several targets and it remains to be seen if Benfica even consider this new proposal.
Benfica president Rui Costa has so far been bullish on his stance, demanding the full 120 million euros release clause which Chelsea are very reluctant to trigger since it would likely cause problems with FFP rules.
January is set to be the final window where Chelsea can spread costs over a long contract before UEFA change the rules to allow a maximum of five years for amortisation. Considering this, Chelsea would be wise to try and sign as many of their summer targets as possible in the remaining days.

The Enzo Fernandez deal should be a priority for Chelsea F.C. That is the missing bit of the anticipated revolution @ the Bridge.
