Chelsea want to terminate midfielder’s contract

Chelsea are set for a busy final few days of the window with incomings and outgoings, the latest update from Fabrizio Romano comes via CaughtOffside, he says that Chelsea are currently trying to terminate Tiemoue Bakayoko’s contract.

The negotiation is with Turkish side Adana Demirspor who would take the midfielder on a new deal, but Bakayoko has to decide if he is happy with this.

Bakayoko is one of Chelsea’s biggest failed transfers having joined from Monaco in 2017 for a fee reported to be in the region of 40 million pounds.

If you ask Chelsea fans what the worst individual performance they have seen from a Chelsea player was, there would be plenty of individuals who vote for Bakayoko’s performance against Watford (A) in the 2017/18 season where he was given two yellows in the space of 5 minutes which resulted in being sent off after 30 minutes.

Not only that, before his dismissal, Bakayoko lost possession countless times with loose touches which allowed Watford major chances to open the scoring, Chelsea lost that game 4-1.
