Everton, currently bottom of the league, could be losing winger Anthony Gordon to Newcastle before the end of the transfer window and that has led them to look at alternatives for the right wing position.
One of those under consideration according to Sky Sports News is Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech and one source has even told Sky Sports news that Everton would be willing to pay as much as 25 million pounds to land the Moroccan’s services.
It has been widely reported that Chelsea would consider bids for both Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech in January but any bids for Pulisic have been ruled out at this stage following a injury sustained against Manchester City on 5th January which is expected to keep the player out for up to two months.
Hakim has featured more as a starter under Graham Potter since coming back from the World Cup but with the signing of Noni Madueke and the imminent return of Raheem Sterling, he could very well find himself being a regular member of Chelsea’s bench once again, so the next few days could turn out to be very interesting for his future.
