Chelsea have completed the signing of Ivorian striker David Datro Fofana from Molde.
In keeping with their recent trend, the Blues signed the forward up to a monster 7 year contract.
Having just turned 20, the youngster looks one of Europe’s top prospects, and has been a goal machine in Scandinavia.
He said he was “happy to sign for the club of my dreams.”
The striker has been in the stands for our last couple of games, but only today have the club announced his move officially.
There is still no clarity on whether he will stay at the club for this season or go out on loan. The step up from playing in the Norwegian to the Premier League is pretty massive, but on the other hand Chelsea have no good striking options at all now, and may well be tempted to take a punt on Fofana after all.
We will find out soon enough.
With the poor foreword play that Chelsea are producing I hope that the manager has the balls to include him in the cup game on Sunday.
