Tiemoue Bakayoko is still a Chelsea player, although you’d be forgiven for forgetting that given how long he’s been on loan.
Currently in the second year of a two year loan at AC Milan where he’s not in the manager’s plans, the Frenchman was today spotted arriving at their Casa Milan base – with the assumption being he’s gone to try and figure out a solution to the bind he’s in.

It’s a totally unsatisfactory situation for all parties involved at the moment, so it’s easy to see why they will all be working to find a new solution.
Milan are paying his wages and he’s not playing, Chelsea are watching his potential transfer value tumble to zero, and Bakayoko is wasting his career on the bench. It’s one of those illogical madnesses of football that he’s still there 18 months on.
