Chelsea are confident they can reach an agreement with Atletico Madrid to sign Joao Felix permanently, according to Fabrizio Romano.
I reported earlier about the report via Mateo Moretto who said similar, however Fabrizio adds that Felix will be the one that needs to inform Atletico he wants to stay at the Blues.
The current plan and idea is to make the move permanent and there are positive feelings, even after just two games.
Chelsea are also very happy with his training and attitude since joining the club and are convinced it was a fantastic signing.
Felix will be hoping to continue his good form with important matches coming up against Dortmund and Southampton. The saints will feel rejuvenated after the sacking of Nathan Jones, they could even have a new manager by the time they take on Chelsea at the weekend in what is set to be a 3pm kick off at Stamford bridge.
