The feeling inside Chelsea is that Graham Potter needs at least one pre season as Chelsea boss before being judged, reports Matt Law from The Telegraph.
Chelsea currently sit tenth in the Premier League table and are on their worst run since 1995. Despite this, the owners seem to be behind the head coach Graham Potter and are still planning long-term with him.
The owners feel that Graham Potter walked into a team with problems and a team that was not in his image. Those above Potter felt that there was likely to be bumps in the road and troublesome moments whilst the rebuild took place.
This though seems like a full blown crisis, Chelsea players are playing without confidence and a Identity and although they should have arguably ended up winning last weekend, they didn’t, and that is the fine line, results are results and once the whistle is blown there is nothing you can do to change it.
🚨 Feeling inside Chelsea – Potter needs at least one pre season, he was brave to take the Chelsea job, sources noted how top managers don’t take jobs mid season and that Chelsea took a risk. (@Matt_Law_DT) #CFC https://t.co/3l6QkxOvzq
