Bashir Humpreys has been a youth team stalwart for some time, and he finally took his first steps in senior football with a loan to Bundesliga 2 club Paderborn in January.
When Chelsea came to Germany to face Dortmund last night, the young defender clearly saw his chance to hang out with some old friends, and he went to the game, as evidenced by his Instagram story.
Bashir – like to many others – couldn’t resist taking a photo of the magnificent Yellow Wall tifo that towered over the ground ahead of kick off.
We’re glad to see he’s enjoying life on the continent – what a shame his old teammates couldn’t give him a result to be happy about too.
