(Image): “Clearly not good enough” – Chelsea legend delivers truth on Graham Potter

Chelsea legend John Terry hosted a q and a session over on Instagram earlier today where he invited fans to send in questions to his message inbox.

Terry was asked about numerous things but the one question that caught everyone’s eye was “did you get Potter the the job?”

For people who are confused, John posted a tweet about Graham Potter not long before he landed the Chelsea job praising how good he was, clearly this fan thought he might have had an influence in the selection of the next manager after Thomas Tuchel’s sacking. Terry denied this, insisting he only works with lower age groups.

On results, Terry inputted that they are “clearly not good enough” and that Potter needs to find a settled team.

Chelsea will be without Benoit Badiashile on Wednesday night against Borussia Dortmund, as well as Noni Madueke, who both missed out on the squad.

  1. Why are these players left out when you have a player not good enough and wants to leave and a defensive player that Potter feels is not good enough for the premier league, bewildered. Is it Chelsea have a manager that is just not quality.

    1. Wasn’t Badiashile already registered for this year’s UCL with Monaco? If so, that probably ruled him out to play with Chelsea (because Potter would obviously want him).
