Ben Chilwell is amongst Manchester City’s top transfer targets for the summer, according to The Times.
Manchester City could be limited in terms of spending after being charged with breaking financial fair play rules, however they have still drawn up a list of targets for the summer, according to the report.
Chilwell is currently coming back from injury and played his first few minutes in Chelsea’s 0-0 draw last Friday against Fulham. Ben would most certainly tell you he is fully committed to Chelsea but with the emergence of Ian Maatsen, it remains to be seen what Chelsea do next summer with the left back situation.
One would think Chelsea would at least demand close to, or even more than the £50m they invested to sign Chilwell from Leicester in 2020.
A key member in Chelsea’s champions league run and a goal threat going forward, Chelsea won’t want to be losing Chilwell easily.
