Callum Hudson Odoi has revealed that he has not spoken to Chelsea at all since his loan move to Bayer Leverkusen last summer.
Hudson Odoi’s loan move was expected to be a huge positive in terms of goal contributions, confidence and fitness.
Truth is, it could not have gone much worse so far, the attacker has struggled to show off his natural talent in a league which is renowned for giving career boosts to young attackers.
Even though Hudson Odoi admitted that the league suits his style of play more due to their being more space and less compact low blocks, the winger has mustered up just one goal contribution in the last ten games.
The Chelsea winger told Sky: “I haven’t spoken to Chelsea much recently, or at all. All I can do right now is focus on what I can do here.”
