Wow. That was liquid Gazprom. Chelsea keep finding new ways to torture us. But it’s smiles all round now.
Chelsea won a penalty for a pretty tight handball. Kai Havertz stepped up to take it, sent the keeper the wrong way, got a retake for a pretty tight encroachment, went the same way, SCORED IT.
It all took about 5 minutes of heart racing drama. This is the pivotal 45 minutes of Chelsea’s season so far, and it feels it. The crowd are up – and Chelsea are now 2-1 ahead.
