A bright start to the second half raised hopes that this team might be on to something today, and in the end it was a corner that’s broken the deadlock.
Wesley Fofana got up really well and nodded the ball past Ilan Meslier, and the relief in the stadium was palpable.
Now let’s capitalise on this! All too many times we’ve failed to get a second goal and been punished in recent year, and today would be a prime example if it were to happen.
