Chelsea face Wolves at Molyneux in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
It’s Frank Lampard’s first team back in charge and he makes some interesting selections.
It’s a back 4 it seems, with Ben Chilwell rested. Marc Cucurella plays at left back, with Reece James on the right and Wesley Fofana partnering Kalidou Koulibaly in the middle.
Enzo Fernandez plays in the midfield 3 with Mateo Kovacic and Conor Gallagher who comes in to replace N’Golo Kante.
The front 3 sees Joao Felix and Kai Havertz supporting Raheem Sterling as a false 9.
We were very interested to see what would happen with Mason Mount, and he’s not in the squad at all. We’re sure that this will be put down to injury or illness – but the reality may be something more political than that.
