Chelsea were heavily linked with former Bayern Munich coach Julien Nagelsmann for the first few weeks of their manager hunt, so now the club have decided to appoint someone else, there’s an inevitable sense that the club were rejected by the German.
But that’s not how Simon Jordan sees it on TalkSport, and in fact he was keen to note that Chelsea can’t be kicking themselves about not getting the former Bayern coach. Jordan insisted that while Nagelsmann is clearly a huge talent, there’s not enough body of work behind him to definitively say that Chelsea “missed out.”
