Chelsea play Man City in the big Sunday afternoon game this week, meaning their players are getting the full Sky Sports interview treatment.
Their reporter Alex Aljoe went down to Cobham to speak to Wesley Fofana, who should be ready to start the game after recovering from a mild injury.
While he hasn’t been at the club long, he’s seen a truly hectic period unfold. She asked him what it was like to now be playing under a club legend like Frank Lampard.
“He’s a legend of the club,” Fofana said.
“When you have Frank Lampard as your manager it’s crazy because I remember that I play on the PlayStation with Lampard and now he’s my manager.”
It just goes to show, whatever you think of Lampard as a coach, his influence is so huge, and he still commands immense respect from the players.
