Frank Lampard was asked in his press conference today if he would consider staying on as a Chelsea coach working under Mauricio Pochettino if and when he is confirmed as the club’s new manager to take over in the summer.
It’s a silly question – this was clearly never on the cards. There has been some talk about some of Graham Potter’s staff staying on, but it was never on the cards that it would be Lampard.
As you’d expect, he was pretty blunt about it.
“No. A new manager will come in with his own coaches,” the Chelsea boss responded.

I hope Lampard doesn’t stay on because he hasn’t got a clue about coaching or motivation,his record speaks for itself.
