Midfielder wants to stay at Chelsea but no new contract offers since January

There are some sagas going on at Chelsea right now that are just becoming super exhaustive for all involved – the club, the players, agents, and the fans.

I am pretty sure that everyone who has been involved or invested in the Mason Mount contract saga at Chelsea will just be very pleased to see a conclusion hopefully very soon, whichever way it goes.

Sources: Chelsea strike agreement with new main shirt sponsors!

Many Blues fans would love to see Mount stay at the club he’s been at since the age of 6, and according to Football London today, Mount himself would also like to stay at Chelsea in an ideal world. But of course, we know that we do not live in an ideal world, and this situation has become very complex and very confusing.

The report says there has been disagreement over the structure of a new and improved contract and there has not been one offer made to Mount since the end of January, a 12-month extension he turned down.

Let’s hope there is still a positive conclusion on the cards, but it doesn’t look great.

  1. He won’t sign a contract , he wants 260 grand a week on a 3 year contract , good luck to Utd with those terms which no one believes personal terms have been agreed

  2. No player is indispensable, let him leave to wherever he wishes. We are the blues, we move.

  3. Let him go,we had people like hazard and Rudiger they thought leaving Chelsea we will suffer but we suffered while mount was there so what’s the difference? He should go asap

  4. Chelsea is an English club. So it should be built around homegrown players especially academy players. Mount is one of them, they must not let him go. They must also bring back Fikayo Tomori,Tammy Abraham, Ian Maatsen ,and other academy players. Conor Gallagher must stay with the team.
