Derek Rae may have an annoying voice, but he’s watched his fair share of the Bundesliga and is a good authority on players playing there.
That’s why he’s worth listening to on the subject of Christopher Nkunku, an attacker who belongs to Chelsea in every way except officially (for now).
There has been plenty of debate about his suitability for Chelsea. There’s no doubt he’s a brilliant player, but is he another attacking midfielder or winger in the mould of so many players already on our books, or can he really play as a full on striker, in a position we’re sorely lacking?
