Levi Colwill has a job on his hands working his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans this summer. But first he has the small matter of the Euro 2023 U21 tournament to contend with.
He has been brilliant for England so far, and on Sunday night they qualified for the Quarter Finals helped by a clear sheet. His quality on the ball remains just incredible for a player of his age, but he also wins balls in the air and on the ground.
Israel are no mugs at youth level, but this Wednesday’s test against Germany will be even tougher.
