Goalkeeper Diogo Costa has grown into one of Europe’s most impressive goalkeepers over the last couple of years since establishing himself as first choice for his team.
He was a key figure for Porto and has also established himself as a main option for Roberto Martinez’ Portugal squad.
He was seen as too expensive when we last inquired, but the growing cost of signing any alternative to him may make him a more realistic prospect as the summer goes on. The Blues are being linked to him again now, and we’re not surprised. A look at his best moments from this season show a really strong stopper with good reflexes, kicking and command of his area.
