West Ham and Chelsea could help each other out with interesting Scamacca deal

West Ham are trying to sell Gianluca Scamacca after a disappointing first year in the Premier League.

He picked up some injuries along the way, but never generally quite looked settled at West Ham despite some bright moments. Roma and other teams in Italy seem keen to take him back – but they’re struggling to offer West Ham the terms they would like to loan him out or sell him.

It’s a slightly cheeky suggestion, but maybe Chelsea should try to swoop? The Italy international is still well regarded – hence the interest in him from top Serie A sides. If we can create a better environment for him to play in than a David Moyes team battling relegation (which with any luck we should be able to this season) perhaps he could be a great buy low sell high candidate.

West Ham won’t want to loan him to a rival, but if they’re really keen to cut their losses on him we could do worse than making a cut price offer for a loan with an option to buy and seeing how he gets on. Perhaps we could organise an Armando Broja for Scamacca loan swap deal so that both parties can try before they buy?

  1. A move to Chelsea might be the answer for Scamacca (Who has real talent), and their are plenty of assets to offer West Ham in return: Gallagher, Hudson Odoi, Pulisic, Kovovic, Loftus-Cheek, Mdaueke, as well as Broja.
