Chelsea look set to announce yet another signing this summer as they tie up the details to sign a player from Everton.
According to the reliable youth insider account, The Secret Scout, ‘Chelsea have added’ 17-year-old left back Ishe Samuels-Smith from Everton for £4million, as you can see in his tweet below.

TSS says that this is for a position that was needed in the U21s at Chelsea.
The Blues have been big on signing top young talents for the academy or to go out on loan straight away with a senior club to be developed. It’s certainly an ethos that the new owners at the club are implementing fast.
It remains to be seen what sort of effect this will have on the academy and the current players coming up through the ranks who have been there since the age of 6, but they are certainly adding a lot of talent.
