Chelsea make initial contact for two attackers, one whom they first spoke to in June

Chelsea have reportedly made initial contact to sign two attacking midfielders, according to a report this afternoon.

An exclusive by Caught Offside claims that Chelsea have had initial contacts over signing Mohammed Kudus from Ajax, and Rayan Cherki from Lyon. Chelsea first asked Ajax about Kudus back in June but nothing has yet to really move from then.

Exclusive! Chelsea insistent on Moises Caicedo – Club promise made. Genuine Michael Olise interest. News on Gabri Veiga and Romeo Lavia.

This comes after the very reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic dropped some news on Chelsea’s pursuit of Kudus over the weekend, something that really came out of nowhere.

He reported that Chelsea have made contact with Ajax to express their interest in Kudus and that there was an agreement close on personal terms between Chelsea and the player.

Other top sources have since picked up on the news and reported it, and it looks like this one has some real legs to it.

Cherki will also excite Chelsea fans, being a super top young talent that many big clubs would love to sign.
