Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Brazilian midfielder Matheus Franca in recent weeks.
According to journalist Vene Casagrande, Chelsea have recently had contact with Flamengo regarding a potential move for the 19-year-old playmaker at the start of the month.
Apparently, the Blues were only making enquiries for the player and there haven’t been any negotiations between the two clubs or the player so far.

Franca has been linked with a move to the Premier League for weeks and it remains to be seen whether Chelsea follow up on their interest with an official proposal.
The 19-year-old is highly rated in South America and he has a big future ahead of him. He could be a solid long-term investment for Chelsea in the coming seasons.
The opportunity to join one of the biggest clubs in the world in Chelsea will be hard to turn down for the youngster and he is likely to be tempted to join them.
