Brighton are holding out against Chelsea’s bids for Moises Caicedo, and today on Sky Sports Kaveh Solhekol explained how they were turning down offer of £70m so blithely.
He explained their logic, which is that Declan Rice and Enzo Fernandez have moved to Premier League teams for £100m in the last year, and so Caicedo should be worth that.
The counter argument is of course – is he as good as them? The Seagulls think so. Chelsea must now decide whether they agree.
