(Video): Raheem Sterling says Chelsea needed Mauricio Pochettino last season

Raheem Sterling has given his first press conference as a Chelsea player in the Mauricio Pochettino era, and his attempts to compliment his new boss have come off as little sharp for the Argentine’s predecessors.

Sterling is clearly excited for what Pochettino is going to bring to the team, and he said it was something they “needed” at times last season – someone to “lead [them] in certain difficult situations.”

Clearly Pochettino’s famous man management skills and most importantly his experience with dealing with Premier League teams is something the players are looking forward to.
