(Video): Sky claim bid of significantly more than £40m could come in soon

Dharmesh Sheth was on Sky Sports News today with plenty to say about Chelsea.

He had reports from London that West Ham had had their £40m offer for the midfielder rejected – but were “discussing” whether to return with another bid for the midfielder.

If £40m was turned down the Hammers will have to offer significantly more to get a deal done. Even at £50m however, many Blues fans will claim selling the versatile home grown midfielder is a mistake. Given our dire lack of options in midfield at the moment, that’s probably accurate.
