It’s been a terrible 12 months as a Chelsea fan, so you can forgive any of them for getting exited now we look half decent again.
Following a clean sweep of 4 wins from 4 games, Rory Jennings was on TalkSport calling his favourite team “electric” and pointing out that they had “lifted a trophy” – with irony laden thick, of course.
We can’t deny we’re excited. We always said that this would be a fun summer, simply because things could only get better from last season. But we didn’t think we’d be quite this positive when looking ahead to our first game of the season.
