(Video): New signing “walks into that Chelsea team” according to TalkSport pundit

The signing of Cole Palmer was the subject of discussion on TalksSport today, with Gabby Agbonlahor very much in the “pro” camp, saying it was a great move for the kid.

Agbonlahor insists that the 21 year old “walks into that Chelsea team,” and so it’s a sensible move for him to make.

Given he’s barely been able to get on the pitch for Man City over the course of 2 and a bit seasons, it’s fairly embarrassing if he really does walk into our team. It just illustrates the difference between the two sides at this stage if it’s true.

  1. He would walk into any Premier League team other than City.

They have Foden, Haaland and Grealish

    1. Well said.

Let’s be real here. City have been building a program under Guardiola now for longer than any manager Chelsea have had in a half a century. Is it any wonder then that, with huge resources to boot, they’ve been able to recruit and develop depth at every position such that their second-stringers are better than most everyone else’s first-string? No! I’m only surprised that SuperFrank seems surprised/embarrassed, lol! It’s what you get when you hire a world class manager and then stick by hm (even when he doesn’t win the league in his first season)!
