Chelsea will finish their preseason unbeaten after all.
The Blues had played well at times against Dortmund, but conceded such a soft goal from a set piece that they never should have given away.
With time running out however, the Blues managed to deliver a great free kick into the box, which was headed back across goal by Enzo Fernandez to catch the defence flat footed.
Mason Burstow had a lot to do to earn his first Chelsea goal, with not much pace on the ball to work with and a goalkeeper on his line ready to react. But the forward managed to direct the ball perfectly into the far side, looping into the one area that couldn’t be reached. It was an impressive moment to grab his first Chelsea goal.
